Jules "Jaunti" Adams is a mix/mastering engineer, record/music producer, filmmaker, YouTuber and recording artist. While growing up in New Orleans, LA, he became incredibly inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson, including others such as: Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Babyface, Sam Cooke, Gerald Levert and many others. Adams chose to dedicate his time by becoming involved in open mics, talent shows and gradually collaborating with numerous musicians and artists over time.
In spite of that, he developed a love for poetry. Writing was all he wanted to do; however, he was secretly writing short stories and practically finished a novel at the age of sixteen.
Adams also developed quite an interest in acting, film and photography. Even so, he wasn't completely sure if those were the things he wanted to do with his life. Subsequently, for a school project, Adams attempted to write his first screenplay for a low-budget school film with an inexperienced cast and crew. He called it: "War of the Music Genres." Adams believed it to be a moderate success. To further his interest in performing arts, he even participated in musicals and short films in and outside of school.
In 2005, Hurricane Katrina, one of the costliest and deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States, forced Adams and his family to vacate their home and travel to Texas. For a couple of months, they became homeless; moving from one motel to another in short periods of time. It was one of the worst encounters they have ever experienced. Adams felt as if he was in a dark place, thinking his life was over or how was he ever going to recover from such a huge loss as to losing everything he had worked hard for, including the novel he had almost finished. His involvement with music, poetry and film came to a sudden end, he believed. Adams prayed daily after realizing that he was starting to lose hope as if he saw the end of his future right before his own eyes. Conversely, everything changed when he proceeded towards a new atmosphere in the winter of 2005. A new school, new friends and a new beginning all spring to mind.
After months of struggling to make ends meet, Adams was enrolled into his new high school and after meeting a classmate, who owned a home recording studio, Adams was invited to record his first song ever. He received moderate praise from his peers on MySpace when the site was very popular. At that time, he thought of it as a huge accomplishment. His habit for creating more music has gotten him over a total number of 21,000 plays on MySpace and thousands of views on YouTube along with other artists he worked with.
After experiencing and learning the basics of creative activity in all varieties of art, without hesitation, he became fascinated. From that point, establishing his own home recording studio became his prime concern. Year after year, Adams has made incredible progress through trials and tribulations as far as being an engineer and producer. Although, he received more opportunities to pursue a career in music and film by experiencing the workflow in actual studios, including working with the late Theodore Jones, also known as Young Greatness and J Napoleon, who is signed to Houston hip-hop artist Lil Flip's record label "Glover G Records". Nevertheless, Adams also took the time to learn about the signification of artistry development, music literature and music creation at the University of New Orleans, Berklee College of Music and the Los Angeles Film School.
In 2016, Adams' health tend to slow things down for him when he was diagnosed with prolactinoma along with other medical conditions that has affected his quality of life and made him visually impaired. He was even preparing himself for total blindness. Notwithstanding the fact that his vision is damaged, his love for creating art is something he persistently tries to achieve every day, to some extent.
Keith Craft, an author and founder/lead pastor of the Elevate Life Church in Frisco, Texas, who once said "A lack of passion for any area of your life is due to a lack of vision. Where there is no vision, there is no passion." has unequivocally convinced Adams that "anything" is possible. That "I am possible still", he shouted. Nonetheless, he is positively certain that nothing is going to let his condition prevent him from reaching his goals because if two of his favorite musicians (Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder) can do it then so can he.
As of now, Adams is planning on finishing school and earning his bachelor's degree in audio production at Full Sail University. By and by, he will continue to explore endless opportunities in any way possible that will help him become better than what he is now.

I'd like to think of my work as small fragments of all the things that I've seen, felt, heard and dreamed of. Along the way, I try to learn something new as much as possible every single day. My vision might be blurry and doubled, but it won't stop me from capturing moments as I continue to do the things I love the most and when you're doing something that you love, that's "freedom". Living life to the fullest, it's the least I can do. Freedom is what comes with it.
My work helps me express who I am to others when I can't find the right words to say, whether it is in music, film or photography. My body of work could be elegant, but I am not stopping at anything that'll keep me from making that happen. Although, I get a lot of praise for what I do, and I use that as a tool of self-empowerment, so I don't become limited by anyone or anything that stands in my way.
I've created this work and the history behind it because it gives me comfort and peace. That is what I feel strongly about, having a peace of mind. A part of it that has somehow created a different version of myself. That version makes me feel liberated from reality when there are some things that are hard to keep in mind. So my art assists me by giving me inspiration to create my work that'll eventually become something unique and exceptional.
As an artist, I work very hard to create the smooth quality of music, videos or photos to accomplish the goals that I seek for myself and for others. Beauty is in everything but not everyone can agree with me. It could either be something you can see, hear, feel, taste or even imagine. What I believe, art can be some kind of tool that will guide others to help them with their innovative thinking in order to find their purpose in anything they completely desire in life.
I am in the process of working on numerous projects for my clients, including myself, that are looking for great-quality art and others that would want beautiful visuals to capture their expressions on anything that they're aiming for.
I have worked with artists that not only I assisted, but they have even helped me improved my craft. The goal is to always strive for greatness further than the expectation I committed myself to meet. My previous work in audio production will always remind me how and why I started this to begin with. It also keeps me focus to realize that the more I continue to build my foundation on music itself, the more I believe I can reach my goals. Whether I worked on projects that only required either recording, producing, mixing or mastering, I will not stop until I reach the endgame. On account of this, I prefer to choose quality over quantity because without quality, the results will be worthless.
